Her abstract work draws inspiration from the experiences of everyday life, with each painting serving as a record of both past and present moments. “I draw and paint because I need to,” says Eva, describing her creative process as a form of self-expression, self-realization, and mental liberation.

She finds inspiration in daily situations, books, photographs, architecture, and conversations—but most of all, she is fascinated and enchanted by the world of children and children’s drawings. Eva experiments with a variety of materials, including oil, acrylic, charcoal, and pencil, often using whatever is available in her studio. Each of her artworks is created through a gradual process of layering until the canvas begins to “come alive” and tell its own story.
