About

My work is inspired by the transitions we experience in life — growth, loss, change, and all the moments in between. I bring this understanding of change not only into what I paint, but also into the way I approach the creative process.

I rarely begin with a fixed idea of what a painting should become. Instead, I let the work unfold naturally. I respond to each layer, colour, texture, and mark as it appears, allowing one decision to lead to the next. I often change materials, remove parts, add new elements, or shift things around. I enjoy seeing how a painting can transform as I work on it, rather than trying to control the outcome from the very beginning.

As a mother, I am deeply inspired by children — their inner worlds, honesty, playfulness, and the way they see the world with such openness. They remind me that change can also bring curiosity, joy, and new possibilities. This way of looking at life has become an important part of how I create and how I approach each painting. 

I aim to create work, where process and outcome are equally meaningful. My hope is that each piece offers a space for presence, discovery, and connection.
